Submission Guidelines
Screenland Literary Associates accepts book and screenplay submissions via email.
Submissions@screenlandLA.com
Please submit one project at a time.
Note: Due to the volume of submissions received, responses may take up to 60 days.
If you have not heard from us within 60 days, we are unable to move forward with the project. Submission materials will be deleted after review.
General requirements
When you email your submission, please include the following information and attachments.
1. In the body of the email:

Phone number

City, State of residence

Submission type: Screenplay or Book — Children’s or adult fiction/non-fiction

Working Title of content
2. Attach a cover letter — Sample below.
3. Attach your creative work.

Book submissions
For children’s books –
Submit a complete manuscript of the picture or board book.
For adult novels &
non-fiction —
Include a PDF containing the first three chapters or approximately 50 pages of the manuscript.
For illustrators –
Artwork samples may be included as low-resolution PDFs. Zipped files will not be opened.
Screenplay submissions
Include a PDF of the complete screenplay or pilot episode.
